It was born from a licensed stylist who spent her life around beautiful hair, then watched her own begin to thin, and felt God calling her to build something that would give women their confidence back. This is the story of how one woman's faith, heartbreak, and professional expertise became the premiere hair topper and wig company for women with fine and thinning hair.

Lauren Ashtyn Guest grew up in a hair salon as the daughter of a stylist. While other kids were on the playground, she was watching transformations happen in the salon chair, learning what beautiful, healthy, natural-looking hair really takes. That world became her own: she went on to become a licensed stylist, licensed in hair extensions, and spent years behind the chair understanding exactly what real women need from their hair.
That professional foundation is the reason The Lauren Ashtyn Collection exists today. Every topper and wig we make is shaped by decades of hands-on, salon-level knowledge, not guesswork.
When it became personal
She wasn't just the stylist. She became the customer.
Then something changed. Lauren's own hair began to grow fine and thinning, and for the first time she understood the quiet heartbreak so many of her clients felt, that feeling of not looking like yourself in the mirror. Lauren felt God wanted this for her life, and that conviction is why she pursued designing and creating the products and the brand herself, rather than slapping a label on someone else's hair. She poured her professional knowledge into designing toppers and wigs that are hand-knotted strand by strand, that move and part like hair growing from your own scalp, and that a woman can wear with total confidence.
Built out of care, compassion, and love for women experiencing hair loss, The Lauren Ashtyn Collection became the first to ever offer pop-up salons and the first to offer free online consultations for toppers and wigs, because Lauren wanted every woman to feel personally cared for, not sold to.
