We start with the finest hair

The process begins with the best hair available: 100% hand-tied: European human hair. This is the foundation of everything we do. We believe that great hair extensions should be made with great hair. This seems like common sense, but a lot of companies touting “luxury hair extensions” use lesser quality hair, and create a lesser quality product.

We Handcraft Our Product

After obtaining the best hair, we triple knot each strand of hair, by hand. We then attach the hair to a uniquely designed micro-mesh base, so that the product will stay put when you wear it. This entire process can take as long as 45-60 days to complete. This may sound like a long time, but we believe that true luxury cannot be rushed.

The Types of Hair We Offer

Here at The Lauren Ashtyn Collection, we make 3 basic types of clip in hair extensions, as well as a full wig option:

  • Full Volume – This is our most popular hair extension. This extension is 12-18” in length, and hits about 2 to 3 inches past the shoulders. It is attached to a 5 by 6 inch base that clips in around your entire crown. This gives you maximum coverage, and is ideal for women who are suffering from hair loss. There is also a shorter length available for those with pixie hair cuts.
  • Light Volume – Our second most popular product is a little shorter than the full volume, at 12-16”. It is attached to a 3 by 5 inch base that clips in around the roots. Our light volume root coverage extensions are perfect for women who want to add a little body to their hair, or cover up unsightly greys. There is a mini version of this one as well for pixie cuts.
  • Luxury Length – Our length extensions simply add length to your hair. We sell 10-12” and 16-18” length extensions. These extensions can also be paired with our full volume or light volume root coverage extensions, for maximum effect.
  • Wigs - For those with extensive hair loss, we offer full coverage wigs. Our luxury wigs are made with the same meticulous process as our extensions. They have the same micro-mesh, breathable base and are adjustable to fit your head size perfectly.

We make our hair extensions in a variety of colors—you would simply select the color that would look best on you. We also make our extensions in such a way that they are fully customizable with regard to color, cut and style. Taking your piece to your stylist to have it blended with your hair is a crucial part of the process.
