OVERVIEW
The Lauren Ashtyn Collection is on a mission to help women feel confident and beautiful. We're on the road, bringing our show to women who can't come to our home salons, and our Travel Stylists bring that mission to life at pop-up shows and events nationwide. This role delivers an exceptional client experience with toppers, wigs, and hair extensions. This position is filled through our established Travel Stylist pathway, so you’ll move through hands-on training and certification before stepping fully into the role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Represent The Lauren Ashtyn Collection at pop-up shows and events across the country, providing consultations and services with our toppers, wigs, and hair extensions. You’ll work closely with clients in a fast-paced show environment, moving efficiently while ensuring every client feels cared for, understood, and fully educated about their hair and their purchase. This position requires frequent travel, including flying into event cities, assisting with setup, working long event days, helping with pack-out, and traveling home. Travel Stylists must be available for both weekday and weekend shows and commit to a minimum of 14 shows per year. You’ll also work comfortably on camera alongside our content team throughout events.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for licensed cosmetologists with hands-on experience working with toppers, wigs, extensions, or other alternative hair. The ideal candidate genuinely loves helping women feel confident and beautiful and brings a collaborative, professional attitude to every event. You should be reliable, coachable, and able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing the quality of the client experience. You should also be comfortable with frequent travel, long, physically active event days, and working on camera alongside content creators. Strong client communication skills, the ability to work well within a team, and a polished, professional presence are essential.
COMPENSATION
This is a commission-based role, with commission rates increasing based on tenure. Gratuities are also earned in addition to commission.
THE PATH TO THIS ROLE
New Travel Stylists join us through our Contractor Stylist pathway: an initial discovery call, a shadow show, and a training and evaluation period leading to certification eligibility. Completing certification does not guarantee an official contractor offer — final decisions are based on performance, professionalism, and overall fit. It’s designed to give both sides a clear, honest look at the role before you officially step into it.
