Do I need a cosmetology license to work as a stylist?
Yes. Our salon and tour stylist, colorist, and blowout roles require an active cosmetology license, since you will be cutting, coloring, and styling human hair pieces for clients. We provide specialized, hands-on training in our signature hand-tied topper and wig techniques once you join. Headquarters and support roles do not require a license.
Where are your positions located?
Our salons are in Spartanburg (Drayton), SC and Charleston, SC, and our headquarters is in the Upstate of South Carolina. Our Pop-Up Tour Team travels to cities across the United States, and our Travel & Affiliate Stylist program is open to licensed stylists nationwide.
Do you offer training?
Absolutely. Even experienced, licensed stylists receive hands-on training in the Lauren Ashtyn signature techniques for fitting, customizing, cutting, coloring, and styling our human hair toppers, wigs, and extensions, so every team member delivers the same natural, confidence-boosting results.
What is it like to work on the Pop-Up Tour Team?
Our tour team travels together to host pop-up salon events in cities nationwide, giving women private, one-on-one fittings closer to home. It is fast-paced, rewarding, and deeply meaningful work for licensed professionals who love to travel, collaborate, and create transformations on the road.
