Is the consultation free?
Yes. Your consultation at either salon is free for one hour, whether you buy a piece or not. There is no charge for coming in, trying pieces on and deciding nothing is right for you today.
We do hold a card when you book, because we see one client at a time and your stylist's time is reserved for you. A fee of $150 applies if you no show or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, and $250 for a wig consultation. It also applies if your appointment runs past the hour and you decide not to take a piece home that day, and your stylist will always tell you before you reach that point.
Where are the Lauren Ashtyn hair replacement salons?
We have two, both in South Carolina. Charleston is at 916 Savannah Highway, Charleston, SC 29407. Spartanburg is at 1802 Drayton Road, Suite 130, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Both are hair replacement salons and hair topper and wig stores, so you can be fitted and buy in the same visit. You can book either one from this page.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes for Charleston, which is by appointment only, and we strongly recommend one for Spartanburg. Fittings are one on one and take time, so booking ahead means the stylist is yours for the whole appointment.
What is the difference between the two salons?
Charleston is our signature salon and works on toppers, wigs and extensions only, not on your own growing hair. Spartanburg is our salon and extension bar and also handles color matching, cutting, styling, application lessons and medical hair loss fittings.
Can I try toppers and wigs on before I buy?
Yes. That is what the salons are for, and both are stores as well as salons. A licensed stylist matches your color and density, you try pieces on in person, and if you find your match we cut and blend it for you before you leave.
What if I do not live near South Carolina?
