Okay, so you don’t have a ton of time to get ready in the morning. That’s fine! We get it. Here are some tips and tricks to take you from your regular, quick make up routine in the morning to fabulous for your evening happy hour.

Weekday

Your alarm goes off and you roll out of bed. You quickly shovel down some food and start to brush your hair. You look in the mirror and notice large bags and an uneven skin tone. But, you only have 10 minutes to get ready. You also remember you have a happy hour tonight, so you want to look presentable. We’re here to help! Skincare is so important, so make sure you have products that work for your skin. After you wash your face with a gentle face wash, use a toner to even out your skin tone before you put on moisturizer. For makeup application, start with a primer to conceal pores and create a flawless canvas. Use a beauty blender to carefully dab liquid foundation. Follow with under eye concealer using your ring finger (to avoid creasing). End with a finishing powder. Now for the fun parts! To apply bronzer, start with your temples and make a C motion to the edge of your cheekbones. Then, apply blush to the apples of your cheeks. For a little shine, apply some highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones and your nose. Eyebrows, eyebrows, eyebrows. Use a brow liner to outline your brow, and fill in using either a cream or even eye shadow and an angle brush. To finish this look, apply a sheer color to the base of your lids, and then take a soft, light brown to the crease. Finish with mascara (add eyeliner if you have time!). Always apply a setting mist after you’re finished with your makeup. It’ll make the results last all day!

Weeknight

You have exactly 10 minutes to freshen up before your weeknight happy hour. Throw on a fabulous outfit and let’s get started. Reach into your on-the-go makeup bag and apply a light coat of your finishing powder. Freshen up your bronzer and blush and outline and fill in your brows once more for good measure. After all, you’ve been working hard all day. Now for the eyes. Invest in a smoky eye palette to really rock your evening look! Apply a darker brown around the crease and a dark grey/black on the edges of your eyes. Finish your look with a touch of glitter by dabbing it onto your finger and then on the lids of your eyes, and finish with a black liquid eyeliner. You’re ready to go!
