This is my 3rd topper. The other 2 I bought at pop ups. I had previously purchased a 3rd online and it did not work for me so I returned it for credit. I finally decided to try it again and I couldn’t be happier. This topper actually came ready to wear after changing the part and styling. No cutting or thinning needed like the other 2. I was so happy. The hair on this one is actually a much thinner/finer strand, more like my natural hair which makes a huge difference.

I had to thin it out a lot to make it look less bulking while wearing. But it came out perfect
I took my topper to my hairdresser and he gave me color and highlights to match it and the end result was perfection!!!! The topper is so light and easy to place and it looks completely natural!!!!

This hair is perfect, authentic, and feels very secure when attached to my own hair. Very similar to how I used to wear my hair when it was at its longest. Friends and family all were amazed. I’m sure it will be even more beautiful once my hair person goes her magic!

I cannot say enough about this topper. I am far beyond the description of thinning on my crown, due to hereditary reasons and having my thyroid glands removed five years ago. This is my first time putting on the topper, and I cannot express my gratitude for the customer service and the quality of this topper. I haven’t felt this good about my hair in four years. If you are considering investing in this product, it will not disappoint. Don’t get discouraged as it takes a little while to get the hang of the placement if you are super thin like I am. If your first time user, it is simple to do even without having hair on my crown. 100% satisfied. This hair is beautiful. Easy to work with to style also. 💕

After watching facebook videos for almost two years, I finally decided to get a topper. I had a consult, and I knew exactly which topper would be the right one for me. And it arrived really quickly. I was a little disappointed when I first got it because my hair was obviously a different color. I went to a new salon, and the lady is some sort of a color wizard because was able to match my hair to my topper. It feels so light on my head almost like I don't even have it on. I'm still getting used to having longer hair as I chose to not cut it to the same length as my hair. I can wear it up or down and I feel so much more confident, having more hair on my head. Sometime down the road, I will probably buy the full topper so that I can have more volume as well
I absolutely love my topper. It arrived so beautifully boxed with their own little cute bag. The color is simply crazy how they can match it to your hair like their website is right on point for picking the color but it’s always good if you need help to reach out to them. This is my second one. All of the product line is lovely . I did just fine online with no help. It’s a wonderful product good quality and again the colors perfection. Elise

This is my second review as my first ordering didnt go so we'll. I exchanged my first piece as I was unsatisfied with the low density hair piece because of the color, length, and amount of hair. I am very pleased with this new piece. Anyone looking for brown hair with blonde highlights and full body hair will love this hair topper. I can't say enough about the customer service I received with John. He truly is exceptional in making sure I would love my new topper.

I wanted to go to a pop up session but didn't want to wait so I ordered online. I took the topper to my hair stylist who did a great job creating highlights in my natural hair to match the topper (definitely be prepared to do that if you order online). I might go to the next pop up...after seeing mine, my mom & sister want one and I would definitely get another (love it that much)! If you are on the fence, just do it, you might even start a trend. ;-)
I love this hair topper so much. As you can see I’m very thin on top. It gives me so much confidence. It’s very soft and luxurious, and so far no shedding. I purchased much cheaper versions and I’ve never been satisfied thank you thank you thank you.

I am new to toppers and in this photo is my first event wearing my new hair to my nephews graduation party outside and it was windy!! Such a great experience. Ordered all through text with my stylist. She did an AMAZING job selecting color and style for me. It shipped quickly and my regular stylist raved about the quality and ease cutting and styling for me. Highly recommend!
It took almost a month for my hairstylist and I to find a day that we could do a cut and color. We added low light brown to it and styled it. It looks great! I need to play with it more to figure out the hair line were I feel like I can see the topper. But today was the big day!!

This is my third topper. I always have it colored dark. Went a bit longer this time. I am 60 years old and my bio hair is super scarce. I love being "Hair Happy" again.

Quick delivery! Great quality but had to be colored by my hair stylist as it was very yellow in her opinion but she did an amazing job and it now matches pretty good. Overall very pleased and have already gotten a few compliments of my hair style!

I love the marigold light volume hair topper on me. It is much better than the hand painted Peyton I got from a pop up that was too dark. So basically I didn’t wear it. If I had it to do over I would have made sure I was shown much more options when I went to that. I basically just settled and hoped I would like it more.
I ordered a hand painted marigold which I love and it blends really well with my hair. I had gotten one from a pop up which I didn’t like and regret buying because it had way too much dark root so I basically wasted my money with that one:(. The last photo is the hand painted Peyton I regret buying and the 3rd photo is my actual hair. The first 2 photos are the marigold hand painted topper.
I was shocked that I love it! I am a huge skeptic. My test was to not tell my teenage daughters that I was wearing it for a week. Finally after a few days, my Oldest daughter asks me if I got my hair done without her and I told her the truth. She was in shock!! I knew it was good then so I started wearing it to work. It covers my bald spots and helps with confidence. Even outside it matches so well and is secure enough that I am not worried about it blowing off. It is expensive but it is worth the money for me.
Considering I did a consult and ordered my piece through text, it’s amazing how well the piece matches my own color. I did bring it to my stylist who trimmed and tweaked the color a bit and i do love it. I must say that i do need to practice putting it on and off and since the texture is different from my natural hair, it will take some getting used to. Hopefully it will get easier with time to work with, and I won’t be so focused on the fact that it is a hairpiece.

We never recommend buying darker and lightening it, as bleaching permanently alters the quality of any hair.
Yes, we do it all the time. Since your piece is premium human hair, you or your stylist can color or tone it to match your natural color perfectly. The one rule: never bleach it. Bleach permanently alters the quality and longevity of any human hair, so always use a deposit-only color or toner rather than lightening.
Yes. Every Lauren Ashtyn topper, wig, and extension is made from 100% European Remy human hair, with every strand triple hand-knotted onto a breathable micro mesh base. A single piece takes 45 to 60 days to make. It can be washed, heat-styled, curled, straightened, and colored (never bleached) just like the hair you were born with.
No one will know unless you tell them. Our hand-tied construction and real human hair create an undetectable, scalp-like part that blends invisibly with your own hair. Designed by a licensed stylist who wears toppers herself, every piece is made to give fine or thinning hair full, natural-looking volume you'll feel confident in.
It comes down to how much coverage you want. Our Light Volume topper has a 3″ x 5″ base for early or fine thinning, our Full Volume topper has a 5″ x 6.5″ base for fuller coverage and more advanced thinning, and a wig gives complete coverage. Your topper clips on in seconds with gentle, pressure-sensitive clips, no glue, tape, or surgery. It's designed to be gentle on fragile or thinning hair and can be removed anytime. Many women wear theirs every day and simply take it off at night.
With proper care, up to 3 years — though the honest answer is that it depends on you. Lifespan comes down to which products you use, how often you shampoo it, how often you wear and style it, and which hot tools you use. Clients who wear a piece every day average about one piece per year, while rotating between pieces and keeping heat low can stretch one well past that. Wash every 4 to 6 weeks with sulfate-free products, air dry when you can, and always use a heat protectant.
Every order is hand-styled by our team before it ships, usually within 3-5 business days, then arrives in about 3-5 days in the USA and 7-10 days internationally. Every order is tracked and insured, and you can pay over time with Shop Pay or Affirm.
We do not offer returns or refunds on any purchase. We do offer a one-time exchange on eligible online orders: contact us within 24 hours of delivery, the piece must be unworn, uncut, uncolored and unaltered, and it must ship back within 48 hours by UPS (not USPS), with exchange shipping paid by the customer. You then have two weeks to choose a replacement, after which we issue store credit valid for one year. Salon purchases, Pop-Up Salon purchases and custom-colored pieces are final sale. Once an order is received it takes 3-5 days to process on average. We pull your order and one of our trained stylists blows out and styles your hair before packaging it in our luxury Lauren Ashtyn box. Once your order is shipped, shipping time is 3-5 days in USA and 7-10 days international.
You must contact us within 24 hours of signing for your package in order to receive an exchange. Be sure you ask for our address to send it back to prior to sending your exchange. The address for exchanges is different from the address in which your product was shipped.
